Bengaluru TravelLalbagh Botanical Gardens hosted the I-Day flower show this August 7 to 16. Attractions this time : floral replica of the Bangalore Palace, statuettes of 5 Maharajas of Mysuru and a photo gallery named Raja Darshana. Pramoda Devi Wadiyar (wife of the scion of Wadiyar dynasty late Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wadiyar) inaugurated the 202nd show. 250 farmers from across the State had displayed rare and unique farm produce. Lalbagh had showcased easy terrace garden vegetable growing. However, the show ended with a sad note this year: 7 year old Vaishnavi, who visited the show on I-Day, was attacked by a swarm of bees under a tree and later succumbed to injuries in the ICU of a private hospital.   Read more about Lal Bagh Botanical Gardens, Bengaluru...
