Cubbon Park, officially known as Sri.Chamarajendra Park, is a historic park, located in the heart of Bangalore. The park is surrounded by Administrative buildings - Vidhana Soudha, Vikasa Soudha, ( State legislature buildings) and Attara Kacheri ( High court) . Indira Priyadarshini Children's Library, City Central Library, Government Museum, Art Gallery, Aquarium, YMCA, Yuvanika- the State Youth Centre, Century Club, Press Club, Jawahar BalBhavan, Tennis Pavillion and a number of other offices are located along the periphery of the park. This major lung space has been an all time favourite of walkers, joggers and nature lovers. The public park is open all the time. 5.00 a.m. to 8.00 a.m. has been declared as a silent zone.
