Ramalingeshwara Cave Temple which is more than 500 years old, is in Hulimavu, near Bannerghatta Road in Bengaluru. As one can infer from the name, the main deities here are: Shivaling, Sri Rama, Sita Devi, Sri Lakshman. The temple has the jeeva samadhi of a rishi, Sri Ramananda Swami, who is said to have meditated in this cave. The cave is said to be 2000 years old, and the deities here are said to be installed by King Sarakeya in the 17th Century. This cave temple is now maintained by Sri Bala Gangadaraswami Mutt.
