Know your Bengaluru

The Bull Temple atop Bugle Rock in Basavanagudi was built in the 16th century by Kempe Gowda I. The sitting bull is a huge granite monolith with an interesting legend behind. The Bugle Rock ( estimated 3000 million years old) is said to be one of the oldest rock formations on Earth and contiguous with the Lal Bagh Rock.
