ECITY FEATURED POT-HOLE

This spot opposite a shopping complex on Neeladri Road, is more than a pot hole since the entire width of the road is broken. Neeladri Road is where the residential population of Electronics City is concentrated. The 1 km stretch is ridden with messy potholes. Commuting on this road esp. after a rain has been a nightmare. We will try our best to bring it to the attention of town planning authority. More such pictures of ECity neighbourhood may be emailed to articles at electronic-city dot in. Or may be inviting some foreign delegates to drive beyond Wipro would work faster!

Know your Bengaluru

Fort Temple of Bettadasanapura, is the nearest historical location to Electronic City. This charming structure on a low lying hillock is hard to miss on Bettadasanapura Road that connects Electronic City to Bannerghatta Road. The rectangular fort with circular bastions in its corners, is built around the twin temples of Thimmarayaswamy and Kashi Vishwanath. There is a rock-cut Kalyani ( pond) near the temple. The fort wall has been built with roughly cut stones. There is a pathway along the inner circumference of the fort wall. Sadly, portions of the wall have given way unable to withstand the weathering.
