Fort Temple of Bettadasanapura, more often known as Thimmarayaswamy Temple, is the nearest historical location to Electronic City. This charming structure on a low lying hillock is hard to miss on Bettadasanapura Road that connects Electronic City to Bannerghatta Road. The rectangular fort with circular bastions in its corners, is built around the twin temples of Thimmarayaswamy
and Kashi Vishwanath. There is a rock-cut Kalyani ( pond) near the temple. The fort wall has been built with roughly cut stones.
There is a pathway along the inner circumference of the fort wall. The crumbling fort wall has been restored with blocks of rock to bring back its original charm thankfully!
