Roadways

The 9.985 km long 10 lane mixed corridor Elevated Highway on NH7, Hosur Road, between Silk boad junction and Electronic City is India's longest Elevated Highway. The elevated stretch has brought down the commuting time to less than 15 minutes from Silk Board to Electronic City. NICE Road (Bangalore Mysore Infra Structure Corridor) connects NH7 to Bannerghatta Rd. Bommasandra, Attibele, Jigani and Veerasandra are the other industrial areas along Hosur Road. Hosa Road connects Hosur Road to Sarjapur Road. Hosur is about 25 km South of Electronic City. The highway to Chennai starts at Krishnagiri, just after Hosur.

Neeladri Road which connects Electronics City to Bannerghatta Road sees heavy traffic throughout the day. This road which is just outside the boundary of the industrial township, was ridden with pot-holes for about 6 years. Finally a good tar road has been laid in March 2019, just ahead of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, much to the relief of thousands of techies who have bought their dream homes in gated communities along this road.
