Sri Rajadhiraja Govinda Temple

  was inaugurated on 14 June 2022, by Shri Ram Nath Kovind, Former President of India. Spread on 28-acres on a hillock in Vasantapura, the temple complex is designed to be a replica of Sri Venkateshwara temple in Tirumala. The temple is constructed in the Dravidian style architecture, yet with all modern facilities. Long queuing hall to accommodate 5000 devotees and dining hall to serve free meals have been built for the convenience of pilgrims.

Deities

Main deity is Sri Rajadhiraja Govinda (King of all kings). There are other shrines of deities: Jagannatha, Baladeva, Subhadra, Sudarshana Narasimha, Mahalakshmi, Lakshmi Narasimha, Bhakta Hanuman, and Garuda. There is also a shrine for Srila Prabhupada, said to be constructed in black stone for the first time in ISKCON.

Legend

Mandavya muni is said to have performed severe penance in a cave on this hill. Lord Srinivasa Govinda, very pleased with his penance, promised him that he would come to the hill, after his wedding with Princess Padmavathi Devi at Tirumala. Vasanthapura signifies the place where Lord Govinda had come for his Vasantha Vihara (spring outing).

Krishna Lila Theme Park

The Krishna Lila Theme Park is a proposed cultural complex being set up at Vaikuntha Hill, with infrastructure to provide spiritual and cultural education. The campus is expected to have several classrooms, audio-visual halls, Vedic library, staff rooms, administrative offices.
