Parshwanath Sushil Dham

,  is a Jain temple complex in Attibele, about 5 km from Electronics City on NH7 ( Hosur Road. The locality has been named Surananagar after the Surana Family ( Micro Labs) from Rajasthan, who have built this beautiful shrine with modern architecture.

Parshwanath temple is beautifully carved out of white marble. The main deity here is Jain Tirthankar Shankeshwar Parshwanath. The temple also has Dadavadi of Jain saint Sushil Suriji and idols of Jain deities - Bhomiyaji Maharaj, Ghantakarna Mahaveer, Padmavati mata, Nakoda Bheruji etc.

Parshwanath was the 23rd Jain Tirthankara. Born as a prince in Varanasi, he renounced worldly pleasures at the age of 30 to become a monk. He is said to have achieved moksa ( salvation) at the age of one hundred. Tirthankaras are believed to be free of rebirth. Shankheshwar is an important Jain Tirtha (place of pilgrimage), situated in the Patan district of Gujarat.

Lord Nakoda Bhairav is worshipped before the beginning of journeys to avoid obstacles and ward off the evil spirits.

The complex is well maintained with lush greenery and ample parking space. There is a Dharm-shala for pilgrims and a Bhojan-shala for Satvik ( vegetarian) meals.
