Aquatic Kingdom
at the entrance of Krantivira Sangolli Rayanna Railway Station is a joint venture by the Indian Railway Station Development Corporation (IRSDC) and HNi Enterprises. The Aquatic Kingdom was launched on 1 July 2021. KSR Station Bengaluru is the first railway station in India with a movable freshwater tunnel aquarium.Entrance
Entrance of the Aquatic Kingdom is adorned by large murals: an Octopus above the doorway and 2 dolphins on either side. Inside the doorway, are several murals: oyster, star fish, jelly fish, turtle and more with interesting Warli art above them.Aquarium
Black Diamond, Sting Ray and High Fin Sharks are a few varieties in the aquarium. There are also exotic fish from Indonesia, Bangkok, Taiwan and Singapore. Alligator gar ranging, stingrays, sharks, lobsters, snails and shrimps. The aquarium is adorned with natural rocks and splashes of driftwood, artificial coral rocks.Paludarium
12-feet-long Paludarium. An aquarium with terrestrial plants and aquatic plants and life, this portion is designed after the Amazon rainforest. There is a canopy of greenery above with sprinklers creating a misty atmosphere. Latin: palus = swamp or marsh. Paludarium is semi-aquatic. In other words, paludarium is basically a terrarium with a body of water. This biotope has both aquatic and terrestrial features and extremely popular with aquatic enthusiasts.
