Treamis World School, an International Day & Boarding School, founded by a group of professionals from India, USA and UK, sharing a passion for education, aims at developing global citizens. Mission of the school is to inculcate independent thinking and self discipline in children which lead to holistic development of an individual. Treamis prides itself on its small class size of 20 students and a teacher student ratio of 1:8. The school is accessible from Bangalore Hosur highway and is situated 2 kms south of Wipro in Electronic City.

Integrated Curriculum

The learning environment at Treamis integrates seamlessly with the rest of the world allowing students to transition the learning process to and from schools/universities worldwide. Its curriculum at the lower level (Grades 1-7) prepares children for national and International curricula offered in the high school. At the higher level, students can choose national ( CBSE) or international ( IGCSE – Cambridge University) curriculum.

At Treamis, Arts, Music and Sports are not extra activities. These activities form an integral part of the curriculum. Swimming is a compulsory sport at the higher level. Both Indian and Western music are taught in the school.

Campus

Sprawling over 11 acres of land near Electronics City, Bangalore, the campus houses school, cafeteria, student dormitory and staff quarters. The campus is designed incorporating the latest technology and equipments concerning K-12 school requirements. Though the academic wing, sports center, swimming pool, play ground and residential facility are physically separated, the design breaks down the scale of the campus to connect students to all the resources efficiently.

Infrastructure

The class rooms are spacious with 35 square feet per student. The campus has world class computer and science laboratories, a language lab for developing global spoken English, library with Wi Fi facility and electronic documentation, Music, Dance and Fine Arts studios. It has a half Olympic regulation size swimming pool, a baby pool and an open air theater. Treamis has four playgrounds catering to different age groups: KG playground, primary playground, junior playground and high school playground. There are tennis, volleyball and basket ball courts and cricket, hockey, and soccer fields. Construction of an indoor sports center with basketball & badminton courts is underway.

Residential Facility

Residence halls, built in a peaceful setting within the school grounds, have single, double, triple and quadruple bed rooms. Boys and girls are housed in separate buildings. Residence halls are available to both weekly and full-time boarders. Starting from grade 3, students are eligible to live on campus.
