IHMR Bangalore was established with the focus on national and international healthcare management under the guidance of Institute of Health Management Research Society, Jaipur which manages IIHMR, Jaipur, a WHO collaborating centre and has been designated as Center of excellence by Govt. of India. The Chairman, Dr.H.Sudarshan is well known in the field of Primary Health Care, Tribal Health and Health Activism. Dr.K.S.Srinivasa Rao, Director of IMHR, has over 2 decades of expertise in research and teaching.
