Shiv Mandir, on old airport road, behind Total ( Kemp Fort before) is worth seeing at night. The attractions are 65 ft high statue of Lord Bolenath, and a 32 ft high Vignaharan Ganapati. If you go there hoping for a traditional temple, you could be disappointed. Entrance from road is easy to miss. There is access from Total parking lot. Security will try to sell Rs.100 per head tickets as if mandatory. Barricades are strategically planned to maximize the queue length and hence the number of intermediate ticket booths. However, it is after the Darshans, that one can sit peacefully and enjoy the soothing Bhajans, while looking at Lord Shiva against night sky.
